SC1 and SC2 pickups, how do they compare with other anderson singles

Hi guys, Im looking at a classic with SC1s and an SC2, with the VA boost. I've owned Va1s and an SD1 and have also played SA pickups. Overall, the SA's were my favorite sounding, so I'm curious, how different are the SC's? This guitar apparently has a switcheroo, with no blower switch, so I'm wondering do the SC's also do split?
    Thanks, sorry for the questions,
    Kurt

if you mostly played the SAs split, the SCs will be a bit darker for you. the SC's were not designed to be split, they were designed to get the best humcancelling sound we could get. so consequently the split sound is overly bright to me.

we've done a few of those 3 mini switch guitars, an homage to the old schecter assembly. i can't remember if they were 2 or 3 way switches on the ones we did. do you have the serial number?

I picked it up! It's an awesome guitar! The SCs really do sound great. The switches are all just on/off toggles. A bit different than the switcheroo, but I like it. The VA boost is the real standout, it makes the SC's fatter and gets a great p90ish jazz type tone, specially on the neck. On the bridge, it don't seem to boost as much output, just sort of thickens up the mids and slightly tames the highs.
    Love it! Thanks Tom!!
