    Rare Old Style Pickguard Hollow T Classic....

    Never actually seen one of these in the flesh before. I have a 1990 model year poster showing one the same in sunburst. Quite unusual this one because I've seen earlier 1990 made Hollow T Classics with the now familiar style guard where as this is a 1991.

    only a few of those. it's a pickguard dave schecter did on a guitar i own of his from before the company started, back when he and skunk baxter were buddies. i always loved the look of it but our customers kept buging us to do the traditional pg so that one vanished.

    I quite like it, a refreshing change. Maybe you could do some special In-Distress one offs of older guitars like this? Thanks for the background info Tom.
