Thanks Tom, don't want to ruin any strings.
Hi,
Thought I would revive this old thread and ask a question. When I built the new pick guard for this guitar I just disconnected the old one and put it away for just what I'm thinking about...
Hi,
I have what I hope is an easy question. I have a Crowdster, 02-23-04A, with chrome vintage tuners. Are there locking tuners that I can use to replace the vintage without altering the guitar?...
Beautiful!!!!
I played an outdoor gig also last weekend in high humidity. I had to tune the start of every set and touch up occasionally between songs but I do that anyway, so no big deal there. I also washed my...
Thanks Tom, I was hoping that would be the answer!!
I’m building a partscaster Tele and purchased a TV3R for the bridge and a TV1 for the neck. My question is around the bridge pickup. Will there be any effect on the performance of the pickup by...
Thanks Tom!!!
I recently got the bug to do another parts caster and I ordered a roasted Ash Telecaster body and a roasted maple neck from USACGs.
Is there anything to be worried about in sanding or finishing,...
I have a Blues Jr. IV output transformer free to a good home, just pay shipping. Nothing wrong with it, I replaced it with TO20 from Allen Amplification.
...
Thanks brokenvail and Tom, appreciate the feedback.
That’s the idea, Strat sounds as well as fat Tele sounds in the bridge position.
I'm thinking about ordering a Classic T with the following pickups, TM2-SF1-SF1.
Is that a balanced/good combo for pickups?
I have an M2 in the bridge of my drop top classic and like it, so I'd...
I recently found this guy on YouTube, plays Anderson Guitars and does instructional materials and looks like he gives private lessons via Skype. Great country player and explains things, as far as...
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Was checking out a lesson on Truefire and he's using an Anderson Classic T for much of it.

I'd like to have some straps made like Tom's straps but I want to put a name vertically on the strap. Anyone have any idea where I can get that done on a small scale, maybe 1 or 2 dozen? I've...
Ooops, mistake. Meant to start a new thread.
+1 on the Carbon Copy. I have two on my board. One is set for slap back and the other is set for a longer delay with a slightly quieter mix.
It occasionally goes thru spells where it seems like no one has much to talk about, it'll come back.
I don't change pick ups often, I've changed them in two guitars that I can remember. The other was a Fender FSR Rustic Ash Stratocaster that I knew I didn't like the pick ups in it when I bought it...
It had SC's.
Guitar Model: Classic
Body Wood: Alder
Body Finish: Ruby Slippers
Neck Wood: Hard Rock Maple
Neck Finish: Satin Finish

I've had Classic for 2 or 3 years that I loved how it played but wasn't bonding with how it sounded. I'd thought about selling it and looking for another one but recently decided since I really...
I think the maple neck on the guitar ties in well with the natural binding, the pickup rings and covers and the switch and vibrato arm tip. That would be my choice.
I've been using hard bags for a long time, can't remember the last time I took a hard case out of my case storage closet. I have several bags by Access and really like them. I have OM/classical...
